The Quick Check for Trailer Lights

Trailer Light Check

Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rules - Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) program - are already impacting everyone with more inspection, violations and fines.

Equipment, including trailers, are being more carefully inspected with more road-side inspections. Malfunctioning trailer lights - signal, brake, tail or clearance – have a violation severity rating of 6 (on a scale of 1 to 10). Malfunctioning lights are easily noticed by law enforcement and, therefore, increase the likelyhood of a roadside inspection. Any violations are be recorded in the SMS (Safety Management System) and available to the public including your customers, insurance companies and more.

Don't let a 50¢ bulb cause unnecessary down time. Test your trailer lights with Light Check.
